Based in Denver, Colorado, Space Magnetics LLC is a leading pioneer of magnetics-based aerospace technologies. Current research includes low-cost geomagnetic launch systems, magnetic ground-effect vehicles, and magnetic particle shielding for spacecraft. Our Long range vision includes magnetoplasma deep-space vehicles.

Presently, Space Magnetics is in the experimental stages of developing Geomagnetic Propulsion, a field-effect propulsion system using superconducting electromagnets that interact with the Earth's magnetic field to produce thrust. In addition to aerospace technology, Space Magnetics is also developing ground-effect vehicle technology using a magnetically-charged plasma. One of the first applications of this technology will likely be a hoverboard similar to those seen in the 1989 film "Back to the Future 2".
